By Flight
Fly into the following airports which are circa 60 minutes from Lecco by car and 90 min with public transport:

Where to Stay
There are many hotels and Airbnb available in Lecco. To chose the best one though, there a few things to consider:

We suggest to look for accomodation close to the centre of Lecco. This is where the aperitivo will be held on the Friday, and where the shuttle bus pick up and drop-off will be on Saturday for the wedding.

Uber does not operate in Lecco and taxis cannot be easily found on the street. They must be booked in advance with the taxi company. The following are taxi drivers that you can book:

For families or people who wish to stay for a few days and travel around, we suggest to rent a car. They are cheaper if done at the airport. Prices are between £40-60 per day

The city is built in a valley. Therefore, the walk is uphill when walking away from the lake. (See picture). This is an important consideration when deciding to travel on foot.

Busses are also an option. They connect the city fairly well. You can buy tickets at a Tabacchi (kiosk) or online.

If you prefer to stay outside of central Lecco we would suggest Mandello or Abbadia, which are beautiful towns that are well connected to central Lecco via a short train ride. Please note that the train service closes at 11pm and therefore taxis will be required for any travel after this time.

Children: Whilst we love your little ones, we kindly request that the wedding is an adults only celebration.

Dress Code: You can wear whatever you like. We anticipate most guests will wear formal wedding attire. Note for the ladies: avoid green if possible as it will be the colour of the bridesmades attire.

Transport: We will provide transportation to and from the venue, from the centre of Lecco. Just let us know in the RSVP if you want to reserve a space.

Safety: We will (hopefully) be having aperitivo and dinner outside in the early evening - wear sun protection!
